There are a growing number of children that deal with anxiety and 2020 proved to add even more stress. We use picture books in our house to deal with hard stuff, whether its emotions or big events. Starting at a new school, making friends, trying new things can all cause fear and anxiety. Children don't have the emotional vocabulary to describe what they are feeling so I have found it incredibly useful to read a story with them to start a dialogue.
This box contains two picture books, journal and a book full of exercises and activities designed to tackle child anxiety and stress, help the child to work out how and why they feel worried, encourage them to talk to others about their worries (if they want to), and feel calmer.
